The Saturday race will now anchor three days of racing beginning on June 25 with the Madeira Centennial Criterium and concluding with the annual classic, Tour de Grandview.

Ron recently spent 3 x 13 hour consecutive days in class before passing the exam, certainly sounds like he was put to the test.

The riders are certainly grateful for Ron’s continued education, thanks again for putting forth all the education efforts (Ron also hosted a Moto Ref clinic in Kettering, OH at the beginning of February).

Instructors will be Mike Hanley and Ken Hart.   The class is about 5 hours long so we would like to get started by 9:00 A.M. Some of you have a bit of a drive so please offer some feedback on the travel time. The present classroom only holds about 10 people, we will need to reserve something larger if we have more people sign up, so please send us confirmation as quickly as possible.

A short Ohio Cycling Association meeting will take place as the meet begins to wind down.

Also keep in mind, a Bicycle Swap Meet is planned for Saturday, February 13th at the Greene Town Center in Beavercreek, OH. 3 – 6 pm, $20 for a full table, $10 for a half table, $2 admission, with proceeds to benefit Junior racing in Ohio.  The Goldsprints set-up will be on hand, come get your spin on and move some of those extra parts, then check out the shopping and food at the Greene, more details soon will be on the OCA site.

Ohio Cycling Association meeting will commence as the swap meet winds down, should be short, mainly laying out the season and progress to date.

Persons interested must be at least a Level C USAC Official to take the course.
