2009 USA Cycling Ohio State Time Trial Championships

Rural Versailles Ohio will be the scene of the real, official, Ohio State Time Trial Championships June 21, sponsored by The Midmark Corporation and hosted by Colavita Ohio Cycling.

$1250 in cash will be up for grabs in addition to Ohio State Championship medals.  All riders are entered and eligible for the overall cash, with a split of $750 to the top 10 overall men, and $500 to the top 10 overall women.

The freshly paved, “L” shaped course is flat and fast. The rollers near the Stillwater River will be less of a worry than the Ohio plains winds, which can be brutal. Since the course is an out-and-back you can hope for a tailwind at some point on the course.

You will think you are in the Tour de France as you launch from Colavita Ohio Cycling’s famous start house and fly through the CLOSED to traffic, crowd lined streets of Versailles (Versailles Ohio that is)

Riders are reminded to arrive in Versailles on SR 121 or SR 47 as the course on SR 185 South of the village will be closed to traffic.
