New Stage Race! Tour of the Valley in Mahoning County

Details are still in the works, but all the buzz is about the Tour of the Valley, a tough new stage in Mahoning County promoted by Carbon Racing.
Tentative plans are to offer Pro/One/Two, Cat Three, Cat Four, Masters 40+, and Womens One/Two/Three (with Cat Four Women scored separately) fields with a combined total purse of over $10,000.
Friday is to feature two stages, morning time trial and evening criterium, a tough road race on Saturday, with the final stage criterium on Sunday.
If last year’s Greenford Road Race (the first event promoted by Dan and Erin Quinlan) is any indication, this will no doubt be the premier Ohio stage race event for 2009!
